Well thats it! its gone forever, burnt to the ground in front of thousands. I have to admit that I was sceptical to begin with but I was totally taken back by the sheer beauty and with the warmth that the people of Derry embraced the Temple. Filled with memories of loved ones and with personal messages the burning of the Temple turned out to be quite an emotional night. It just goes to show how far Derry has come. I never thought I would see the day both “sides” gathered round a bonfire in this neck of the woods.
