Derry Wedding Photography at Roe Park Limavady – Jade and Dominic

Dominic and Jade got married on the 6th of November, 2021. I was delighted to capture the wedding day as I have known the couple for quite some time. The day started by taking pictures of Jade and her bridesmaids getting ready in her home. I capture photos of Jade getting her makeup done, her hair done, and small details around the house, including wedding cards, jewellery and shoes.

I love these photographs as they tell a story from the start of the day leading into the big event in the chapel and the wedding reception in the hotel. After bridal prep photos in Jade’s house, I drove to Dominic’s mum’s house, where Dominic was getting ready with groomsmen and his little son, Pio.

I also took pictures of Dominic and his mum and some of Dominic’s family. Shortly after, the wedding car arrived, where I managed to get some lovely portraits of Dominic and his son.

I drove back to Jade’s house to take pictures of Jade in her wedding dress, waiting for the wedding car to take her to the chapel. I went ahead of the wedding car to the chapel, where I got photographs of the bridesmaids and flower girls outside the church. I also got some pictures of Jade and Her mum in the back of the wedding car.

After the ceremony in St Eugene’s Cathedral, we travelled to the grounds of the Roe Park Resort in Limavady, where we got some stunning pictures using the grounds of the hotel as a lovely backdrop.

As the wedding took place in November, the light dropped quite quickly that day, making it difficult to get some pictures with good light. However, this did not stop us from getting some stunning images.

The grounds of the hotel, ballroom various spaces in the hotel meant that there was no shortage of areas to take pictures. I want to thank Dominic and Jade again for a brilliant day.
